Steve joined IAA as Managing Director in October 2009. His career has spanned the automotive and insurance industries for nearly four decades. Steve qualified as a motor vehicle technician in 1982 and progressed to the role of Service Manager at a successful VW/Audi franchised dealership group. Since 1994, Steve has held numerous managerial roles, including as Engineering Manager and Associate Director for supplier management at BGL Group, then as Associate Director for ACM ULR with responsibility for vehicle repair and total loss.
Jay joined IAA as Finance Director in January 2018. Jay’s previous experience included working in the aerospace and defence sector for a company that makes parts for civilian and military aircraft, and he brings with him a wealth of financial knowledge and expertise. His career has spanned 34 years in the manufacturing, service and distribution sectors, during which time he has worked in Australia and held many senior roles, including CFO at a quoted Plc.
Jim joined IAA as Commercial Manager in 2000. Jim’s career in the insurance industry started with Paladin Motor Policies and progressed into claims management of niche underwriting for Red Star. He has worked on many projects throughout his career, including the acquisition and merger of Barbican, Beacon, Mitre, HGP Motor Policies and Dominican Insurance. In 1999, he formed the development of the newly created Liberty Motor Policies claims department. Jim continues to establish strong relationships with existing and new clients to ensure that IAA provide full support through the claims process.
Tony joined IAA in February 2020 in the newly created role of Director of Sales & Marketing. He spent the previous15 years in the car rental sector working with many of Britain’s motor insurers. Before his time in the insurance supply chain industry, Tony worked in the FMCG sector – initially with food giants Unilever and Kellogg’s, and later with drinks companies Scottish & Newcastle and Bass Brewers. He has won Daily Telegraph and Insurance Times business awards.
Stacey joined IAA as a Marketing Coordinator in 2017 and currently holds the position of Regional Manager – South. Her career started in sales and marketing, and she has worked with a team to develop IAA’s marketing strategy. Stacey also created the Buyer Services department in implementing various buyer initiatives across IAA’s extensive buyer base. Since becoming Regional Manager in October 2019, Stacey has been dedicated to improving the operational side of the business.
Lesley joined IAA as Administrative Assistant in 2000 and has since risen to her current role of Regional Manager – North. Prior to joining IAA, Lesley held several project management positions in retail, construction and transport. Her tenure at IAA began in operations at Teesside where she assisted with customers, live auctions and counter sales. Lesley progressed to team leader and earned her WAMITAB qualification before becoming Site Manager and subsequently Regional Manager. Lesley is responsible for IAA locations from Carluke in Scotland through to Hixon in Staffordshire.
Sara joined IAA as Human Resources Manager in June 2018. With over 20 years of HR experience, Sara has worked as HR Manager for organisations including, Essex Police, Ford Motor Company and Sodexo. These varied roles and organisations have allowed Sara to gain significant experience encompassing all corners of the HR spectrum. Sara works at multiple sites across the UK in all areas of the business to ensure IAA is an employer of choice through employee engagement and operational excellence.
